Justin's Story
He is renowned for his ability to write songs in any genre, which he demonstrated when he wrote and recorded three solo albums, one reggae, one hard rock and the other ballads. It’s a rare day when he isn’t writing, or recording something new at his small home studio.
His song-writing skills have been critically acclaimed within the industry as being “cleverly written”. “Strong structures that follow the industry standard”. “They have fantastic melodies”. “The songs have lively lyrics and a fresh feel about them”.
He is a dynamic front man who, like the rest of the band, puts everything into the live performance ensuring The Skore remains one of the best bands around.
Digby's Story
Digby is the cheeky chappy in the outfit. Always ready with a quick pun and a big smile, which belies the seriousness with which he approaches either his live performance or recording responsibilities.
Acclaimed as being one of the finest bass players on the circuit, Digby has spent his musical career alongside Just in all of the other bands mentioned in this biog. They are lucky in as much as they want the same things from their music and work well together to achieve it
It’s a fact that, even though they had played in other bands together, it was only a few years ago that he realised that he had a singing voice that worked well in harmonies with Just. Since then he has been recognised as the second voice in the band.
Like all of the other members of the band, Digby is an easy-going bloke who loves being on stage performing live. It’s not unusual for him to get totally carried away and join the audience for a dance before rushing back on stage to continue the performance.
Scott's Story
If you thought that all drummers were a bit on the small side to fit behind their kit, you’d be wrong. Scott must be one of the tallest drummers around at 6feet 7inches! Most people are amazed when he stands up and can’t believe how he fits into his drum-kit, but he manages.
He is an accomplished musician who studied at the Academy Of Contemporary Music in Guildford. He played in a couple of small bands whilst there and like the others, loves the excitement of the entertainment business.
Apart from being a drummer who is good to watch, he is also good to listen to. Through his solid performance, he adds an extra dimension to the sound.
Trev's Story
Along with Scott, Trev joined the line-up after being invited to try out for the band following the break-up of Space Moosey. He had been a keen follower of that band for a couple of years whilst at the same time taking lessons from Just to improve his guitar skills. He is a great example of what hard work and dedication can produce.
He is an excellent guitarist who will do whatever is necessary to help keep this band at the head of the pack. Always seemingly serious and questioning his own performance, (unnecessarily as it’s always good), often seems to be on a different world on stage, singing his head off even though he doesn’t have a microphone. But then again, who needs one when you’re enjoying yourself.
